  • Sheffield Smokefree Service

    What they do:

    Here to help when you’re ready to quit, switch or cut down.

    Sheffield Smokefree offers free advice and support for adults wanting to quit smoking or switch to vaping. They can provide free nicotine replacement therapy or vapes for up to 12-weeks, and will help you to manage your stress while you quit.

    And if you are not yet ready to quit, they will help you cut down for 6-weeks before setting a quit date with you.

    They also offer support to children aged 11 and over who smoke or use tobacco and are ready make a change. 

    Children and young people can access 8 weeks of free support to help them quit. This will include help to develop a personalised quit plan, covering the benefits of quitting and tips to combat the temptation to smoke and how to deal with stress. They may also be given 8 weeks of free nicotine replacement therapy.

    Sheffield Smokefree can also offer support with concerns about vaping.

    All support given is free and confidential.

  • Sheffield Maternity Smokefree Team

    What they do:

    Support pregnant women and their families to quit smoking before and during pregnancy.

    Whether you need help at home, in hospital or at a place to suit you, their team of specialist midwives will be by your side during your smokefree journey.

  • Sheffield Children's Hospital

    What they do:

    They’re a team of Health Visitors, School Nurses and Nursery Nurses who work in partnership with families, children and young people to help children and families become and remain smokefree.

    They also work with women during their pregnancy, postnatally and beyond, alongside providing advice about smoking to young people. This support works together to enable families and children to have a healthier and smokefree future.
